Battery Buggy Update
1. As per rule 3.b., Batteries must NOT be installed in or on the vehicle until immediately prior to the run. They can be impounded already placed in holders, but the information needed to check if the batteries (all of them) are proper must be rotated in such a way so that it can be easily read on each battery by the Event Supervisor. The holders cannot be attached to the vehicle. If the battery holder(s) are attached to the vehicle, then they must not have the batteries in them.
2. As per rule 4.a., there are 3 - 4 if the Bonus is going to be attempted - very specific parameters that must be in a team's Practice Log. The columns with these parameters should be clearly labeled. A team can have more data, more columns than these, but these must be present for each run.
3. As per rule 5.c.iv., Sighting and aligning devices may be placed on the track but must be removed before the run. It does not matter if the devices are behind the Start Point or after the Target Point, all of them must be completely removed before the run can start. They may be placed down on the Track for the 2nd run, but again they must be removed before that run as well. The placing and removing of these devices are considered part of a team's 8 minute limit.
